In January 2019 Aurify Constructions undertook works to the Ground Floor at 80 George St. the Rocks. Constructed in the 1910s, The Metcalfe Bond Store building is of State Heritage Significance, listed on the National Trust Register and Register of National Estate.

The works took place in the large open spaces of the warehouse style building. Aurify undertook complete strip-out of all elements on the Ground Floor, upgraded the electrical, mechanical, and various structural elements, including building a new atrium / mezzanine to link two parts of the building. The works involved a full refresh to the internal fit out works. All works were carried out in close consultation with the Heritage Architects and in accordance with a Heritage Construction Management Plan, to protect the heritage fabric and surfaces of the building.
