In 2019 we were was awarded civil works to upgrade the 1200 square metre hardstand in the forecourt of the British High Commission in Canberra. We mobilised a project manager to Canberra to oversee the works, ensuring AFP security requirements were met, contract milestones achieved, and works staged to successfully maintain access to the British High Commission.

The works included demolition of the existing paving and screed. A new screed was then installed to the hardstand. Saw cutting, mastic joints and strip drains were installed to the building perimeter. New paving was then laid in accordance with an architecturally designed paving set out. Bollards were installed to the finished surface.

The works were undertaken in the secure compound and required AFP checks and security approval of all personnel on site.
